<p>A pile sleeve connection has an elongate pile part (2) with an open pile end and a sleeve part (4) comprising a closed sleeve end (16). There is an open sleeve end and an inner elongate member (20) extending longitudinally in a direction towards the open sleeve end. The sleeve part is adapted to mount over the open pile end and define a first space (24) therebetween, and the elongate member of the sleeve part is adapted to mount in the open pile end and define a second space (25), the first and second spaces are adapted to contain a reinforcing material such as grout. The connection may be used when installing a monopole seabed foundation for a wind turbine. There may be reinforcement members 43, 42 within the first or second spaces and the spaces may be in communication.</p> |
