<p>The present invention provides a tray-type card connector capable of selecting any one of two memory cards with different specifications and retracting the memory card in an accurate and stable state and being miniaturized. The tray-type card connector comprises a shell (13) of a tray insertion portion (12) for inserting a card tray (11), a plurality of inside contacts (14, 14 ...) which are protruding toward the tray insertion portion and are contacted with signal terminals of a memory card (A), and a plurality of front side contacts (15, 15 ...) which are protruding toward the tray insertion portion and are contacted with signal terminals of the other memory card (B). The card tray is provided with a longitudinal retractable portion (22) for retracting the memory card in a manner of facing a longitudinal direction of one memory card toward the tray insertion direction and a horizontal retractable portion (23) for retracting the other memory card in a manner of facing a longitudinal direction of the memory card toward the connector width direction; and the longitudinal retractable portion and the horizontal retractable portion are orthogonal to each other and share partial configurations.</p> |
