PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container by which impacts acting on the container from all directions can be reduced and which can be effectively assembled without deteriorating productivity. SOLUTION: The cosmetic container includes an inner tray 3 composed of a bottom plate 3a and a peripheral side wall 3b, a container body 1 in which an inner tray housing concave part 11 is formed, and a lid body 2 for capping the container body 1. The cosmetic container supports and receives the inner tray 3 via a flexible cushioning material 7 with a substantial cup shape composed of the bottom face 11a of the inner tray housing concave part 11 or a bottom part 7a having a plurality of bottom face cushion parts where hollow protruding parts 7d forming cavities S1 with the lower face of the inner tray bottom plate 3a are formed and the wall face 11b of the inner tray housing concave part 11 or a side part 7b having a plurality of side cushion parts where hollow protruding parts 7e forming cavities S2 with the outer peripheral face of the inner tray peripheral side wall 3b are formed and flange parts 7c, 7c extended from the upper end of the side part 7b.
