PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device for a molding machine which has a simple constitution and high performance. SOLUTION: The injection device 1 includes: an injection cylinder device 7; a conversion cylinder device 9 communicated with the injection cylinder device 7; and a working liquid feed part 11 feeding a working liquid to them. The conversion cylinder tube 27 includes: a large-diameter cylinder part 27b; and a rear side small-diameter cylinder part 27c communicated with the side opposite to a head side chamber 25h in the large-diameter cylinder part 27b, and having a diameter smaller than that of the large-diameter cylinder part 27b. The conversion piston 29 includes: a large-diameter part 29b capable of sliding the large-diameter cylinder part 27b; and a rear side small-diameter part 29c capable of sliding the rear side small-diameter cylinder part 27c. The working liquid feed part 11 includes: a driving cylinder device 35 communicated with the injection cylinder device 7 and the conversion cylinder device 9; and a motor 31 sliding a driving pin 51 at the inside of a driving cylinder tube 49 by driving the driving piston rod 53.
