<p>In a broadcasting system of the present disclosure, a feeding device includes a broadcasting unit that broadcasts a program to a receiving device via a broadcasting network, and a feeding unit that feeds a segment data sequence containing at least one piece of segment data including a segment validity period indicating a synchronization period for progress of the program and metadata associated with the program in progress to the receiving device, and the receiving device includes a receiving unit that receives the program broadcast from the feeding device via the broadcasting network, an acquisition unit that acquires the segment data sequence fed from the feeding device, and a presentation unit that presents information about the program to a user in synchronization with the progress of the program based on the acquired segment data sequence.</p> |
