A windscreen wiper blade frame slides into engagement with a wiper arm in only one relative attitude through complementary male and female formations such that relative pivoting then locks the frame to the arm. In Fig. 1 the arm has a slot 5 and circular recess 6 while the frame has cylindrical cross-piece 12 with flats 13 (Fig. 2, not shown). The cross-piece is integral with side plates 11, and the assembly is made of plastics material and riveted to the frame. In Fig. 5 the wiper arm carries two end pieces each having a slot 30, for co-operation with a protuberance 33 on the frame, and a piece 31 for co-operation with a side of the frame. In Fig. 3 the arm carries cylindrical protuberances 17 having opposed flats 18, and the frame carries a piece of plastics material having slots 20 leading to circular recesses 21. |
