SUMMARY This invention concerns the use of the sequence encoding of the carboxyl-terminal domain of the heavy chain of the tetanus toxin as a drug, preferably in the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), as well as the polypeptide encoded by said sequence for the treatment of the aforementioned disease.
