The method for decreasing intra-abdominal pressure following the surgery comprises the separation of the skin and subcutaneous fat from the medial part of the anterior plate of the sheath of both abdominal rectus muscles to the Spigelian line, the cut of the tendinous part of the external oblique abdominal muscles. Following the major stage of the surgery, suturing the peritoneum and muscular-aponeurotic layer of the laparotomic wound, at the level of the umbilical ring, the aponeurosis of the external oblique abdominal muscles is cut towards the costal arch then to the iliac bone. The drainages are installed, and the sutures are applied onto the skin. |
