The present invention relates to a camera device for vehicles. The camera device comprises: a transfer hole unit formed to be opened towards the rear part of the vehicle; a housing installed at a tail gate of the vehicle by including a latching unit formed to be protruding from the rear end of the transfer hole unit; a guide block moved forwards and backwards along the transfer hole unit, protruding towards the inner/outer side of the housing, and in which the movement towards the rear side is controlled as it is hung on the latching unit; a camera installed at the guide block and filming the rear part of the vehicle while being exposed to the outside of the housing; a driving device providing driving force to move the guide block; a cover installed at the rear part of the housing, upwardly rotated by the guide block, and opening the transfer hole unit; a gate sensing device sensing the opening of the tail gate; and a controller for moving the guide block to the front by driving the driving device and closing the transfer hole unit by the cover when the tail gate is opened. |
