A three-phase inverter package comprises a power device, a control circuit component, a current detection terminal, a DBC board, a control board, a plurality of external leads, and a molding material. The power device comprises first and second switching devices, third and fourth switching devices, and fifth and sixth switching devices for generating U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase output signals in a three-phase load. The control circuit component comprises first, second, and third high voltage integrated circuits, which control switching operations of first, third, and fifth switching devices, and a low voltage integrated circuit which switching operations of second, fourth, and sixth switching devices. The current detection terminal is connected to one terminal of fourth to sixth switching devices to detect the output current of the switching devices. The power device is installed on the upper part of the DBC board. The control board is separated from the DBC board to have different height and installs the control circuit component on the upper part. A plurality of external leads is installed on the DBC board and a control board. The molding material is arranged on the DBC board and the control board to expose the external leads to cover the DBC board and the control board. |
