The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a text message including an advertisement, and a mobile communication terminal for the same and more specifically, to a method capable of enabling a message receiver to reliability confirm the text message as the advertisement without dealing the text message as a spam message by adding an advertisement message to a message transmitted by a user in utilizing a text message service as the advertisement. The method writes a first text message by receiving a first text message writing signal from the user; writes a second text message by inserting the advertisement message into the first text message written according to the received writing signal; and updates the second text message transmission information by transmitting the written second text message to a text message transmission server.
