The present invention relates to a composition comprising protein hydrolysate of Styela plicata for controlling blood pressure. The enzymatic hydrolysate of Styela plicata according to the present invention is advantageous to apply to human subjects, and can be used as an active ingredient of a natural blood pressure controlling agent with no side effects. The enzymatic hydrolysate of Styela plicata can also safely taken as a dietary supplement in a sense of drugs such as a development of a new food material for controlling blood pressure and an existing drug for treating blood pressure.
