METHOD FOR PREVENTING DEHISCENCE OF INTESTINAL ANASTOMOSIS IN PERITONITIS

The method for preventing the dehiscence of the intestinal anastomosis in peritonitis comprises fashioning anastomosis, catheterizing the root of the mesentery of the small intestine, exteriorizing the distal end of the catheter via the surgical wound with its fixation to the skin, draining the peritoneal cavity. The intramesenteric infusion with solution containing analgesic and antibacterial drugs as well as antithrombotic drugs and the substances improving peristalsis is provided. Prior to catheterization, the peritoneal cavity is washed with ozonized physiologic saline with ozone concentration of 4-5 mg/L for 15-20 minutes. The ozonized physiologic saline with the same ozone concentration is used for intramesenteric infusion in a volume of 50-100 mL twice a day for 3-5 days. Postoperatively, the peritoneal cavity is washed with the ozonized physiologic saline through drainage.
