TECHNIQUE FOR LAPAROSCOPIC APPENDECTOMY IN ACUTE DESTRUCTIVE APPENDICITIS COMPLICATED WITH TYPHLITIS

The technique for the laparoscopic appendectomy in the acute destructive appendicitis complicated with typhlitis comprises the laparoscopic mobilization of appendix, the ligation of its base with two Reder endoloops, the cut of the appendix, and the treatment of the mucosa of its stump with mono- or bipolar coagulation. The stump is peritonized with the everted peritoneal flap of the iliac fossa fixed to cecum with non-interrupted suture.
