The present invention refers to a biotechnological process of micropropagation for generating plants with homogeneous morphological characteristics, so as to maintain a viable species. Likewise, the process for culturing cells in suspension of Sphaeralcea angustifolia increases the production of scopoletin and induces the production of new compounds such as hydroxycoumarin tomentin and naphtoic acid (2-(1,8-dihydroxy-4-isopropyl-6-methyl-7-metoxi) best known as sphaeralcic acid, which present an important anti-inflammatory effect. |
