A method for separating a polarizing plate and an apparatus for separating a polarizing plate are provided to prevent the polarizing plate from being torn in a process of separating the polarizing plate by reinforcing rigidity of the polarizing plate with rigidity of a separating film. A polarizing plate(410) is attached to a liquid crystal display panel(10). A separating film(30) is attached to the polarizing plate. The separating film is wound on a first winding member(22) and the polarizing plate is wound on a second winding member(23) while separating the polarizing plate from the liquid crystal display panel. The polarizing plate is fixed at the second winding member. |
