The present invention relates to an electric propulsion vessel operated by electric energy stored in a battery and more specifically, to a method for operating an electric propulsion vessel of a catamaran structure which maximizes energy consumption efficiency. The present invention reduces energy of more than or equal to 30% in comparison with an existing electric propulsion vessel by controlling an on and off of electric supply to have maximum efficiency at a predetermined speed.
