PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress uneven consumption of color materials and suppress dilution of images.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: image forming means for forming an image on a recording medium by using color materials in respective hues on the basis of image data representing an image having a plurality of hues; and hue adjustment means for detecting the remaining amount of color materials to grasp a color material with the least remaining amount and a color material with the largest remaining amount, and correcting the image data according to an adjustment level designated by a user, so as to adjust hue of an area in the image formed on the recording medium for which the color material with the least remaining amount is to be used gradually in a hue direction toward the color material with the largest remaining amount. |
