PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of adopting an inexpensive fuel pipe, without the need of considering transpiration from a fuel pipe for supplying liquid fuel from a fuel tank to a vaporizer.SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine is equipped with a vaporizer 30 mixing liquid fuel sucked from a liquid fuel suction pipe 31 with air, and supplying mixture gas to a cylinder combustion chamber 9. The internal combustion engine includes: a fuel tank 40 formed with a through-hole 42 at a position opposite to the liquid fuel suction pipe 31 of the vaporizer 30; an in-tank fuel pipe 52 disposed in the fuel tank 40; a connecting member (a grommet 50) for connecting the in-tank fuel pipe 52 and the liquid fuel suction pipe 31; and a seal member (the grommet 50) interposed between the through-hole 42 of the fuel tank 40 and the liquid fuel suction pipe 31 to prevent the leakage of the liquid fuel. |
