PURPOSE: A phrase unit pattern construction device is provided to establish the phrase unit pattern which is usable for the pattern based machine translation system by using the phrase unit alignment result which is studied in the word/phrase unit aligner. CONSTITUTION: A raw language sentence analyzer(10) performs the syntax analysis of the raw language. A word/phrase unit aligner(20) generates the phrase unit alignment table. A pattern generalizing/alignment correcting unit(30) extracts the phase matched for the restriction of the phrase unit raw from the phrase unit alignment table according to the language analyzing result, performs the generalizing/alignment-correcting and generates the candidate pattern. A pattern scoring/filtering unit(40) appropriates the score for the candidate pattern and filters the candidate pattern which is low reliability and overlapped with each other. |
