The invention relates to a towed vehicle (100) for transporting a wheelchair with the user placed therein, which vehicle is a towed terrain vehicle. The towed terrain vehicle has a front end and a rear end, and it comprises a chassis (102), a whether protection (104) mounted at the chassis, and base contact members (112) connected with the chassis at either side thereof. The chassis comprises a floor, a ramp arranged at the rear end, and pivotable between a raised and a lowered position, a tow device arranged at the front end, and a fastening device (114) for fastening the wheelchair.
