PURPOSE: An injection molding machine is provided to stabilize the steady speed driving of movable elements by reducing the speed of the movable elements with a damper only when the movable elements are positioned around a retreat limit area. CONSTITUTION: An injection molding machine (10) comprises a linear motor (28) and a decelerating device (70). The linear motor comprises a movable element (31) and a stator (29) and the movement to open/close the shape is performed. The decelerating device partially absorbs a part of the kinetic energy of the movable element moving in a predetermined direction and reduces the speed of the movable element. |
