A spindle motor comprises: a bearing assembly including a bearing into which a rotary shaft is inserted and a bearing housing which receives the bearing; a base plate fixing the bearing assembly; a stator including a core fixed to an outer circumference surface of the bearing housing and a coil wound around the core; a rotor including a yoke that is coupled with the rotary shaft to support an optical disk and a magnet that is disposed on an inner side of the yoke to face the core; a disk clamp inserted through the rotary shaft and disposed on an upper surface of the yoke; and an assembly height securing part interposed between the disk clamp and the upper surface of the yoke, and enabling the height between the upper surface of the yoke and an upper surface of the disk clamp to have a required height. |
