PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition plug capable of suitably suppressing the deterioration of anti-preignition property to be obtained when mixed gas staying in a plug pocket is scavenged by suction against preignition which occurs due to the mixed gas.SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine, an ignition plug 1 is disposed in a combustion chamber C in which two suction valves 10 are disposed. When a fixed end section E1 of a ground electrode 5 is equally disposed with respect to the two suction valves 10 at an exhaust side between a suction side and the exhaust side in the combustion chamber C, a fixed end section E2 is disposed so as be positioned between a center point O2 as a center point of any suction valve between the two suction valves 10 when viewed along the drawing direction of the combustion chamber C and the fixed end section E1, and so as to be protruded from the end face of a portion formed with the fixed end section E1 in a housing section 2. |
