PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor device capable of avoiding the collision of movers, and contributing to space saving, and suppressing the deterioration of working efficiency.SOLUTION: A linear motor comprises long stators 441 or one or more movers 442a, 442b and 442c. Carriages 42a, 42b and 42c are respectively fixed to the movers 442a, 442b and 442c. The linear motor device includes a plurality of linear motors constituted such that a plurality of stators 441 are arranged side by side on a base 41. The length of the carriages 42a, 42b and 42c in a direction which is substantially orthogonal to a moving direction is equal to or more than length that extends across the whole width of the adjacent stators 441, and one mover 442b to which one carriage 42b is fixed and the other movers 442a and 442c to which the other carriages 42a and 42c adjacent to one carriage 42b are fixed are configured to mutually generate thrust by the mutually different stators. |
