PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of pressing a fuel cell stack between an upper base and a lower base by a simple configuration and a uniform pressing force, and a fuel cell system provided with the fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 2 of the present invention comprises: a fuel cell stack 3 composed of a plurality of power generation cells and separators laminated alternately one on top of another; an upper base 4 and a lower base 5 for sandwiching the fuel cell stack 3 directly or indirectly in a power generation cell and separator lamination direction D1; and a heat insulating wall member 6 for covering the fuel cell stack 3 from a horizontal direction D2 intersecting the lamination direction D1 at right angles and insulating heat between a space 61 on the inside and a space 62 on the outside of the heat insulating wall member 6. The upper base 4 and the heat insulating wall member 6 are integrally composed, and the upper base 4 functions as a weight weighting down the fuel cell stack 3 toward the lower base 5. |
