The present invention relates to a pipe coupling for combining adjacent ends of two pipes, which comprises a ring sleeve (11) made of an elastic material and used for sealing the gap between the ends of pipes, and a tightening device having at least one tightening strap (12, 13) and at least one tightening screw (14) for tightening the sleeve. The tightening strap (12, 13) has ends (15) forming a loop, wherein each end (15) has a wrapping part (16) covering a tightening bolt (18) and a coupling part (17) tightly combining the ends (15) forming a loop to the outer surface (19) of each tightening strap (12, 13). According to the present invention, the ends (15) forming a loop of the tightening strap (12, 13) are guided in the tangent direction to the outer surface (19) of the tightening strap (12, 13) so that the transit area (20) between the wrapping part (16) and the coupling part (17) of each end, which touches the outer surface (19) of the tightening strap (12, 13), is extended in the tangent direction to the outer surface (19) of the tightening strap; and the coupling part (17) of each end (15) of the tightening strap (12, 13), which strongly combines the ends to the outer surface (19) of each tightening strap, is placed behind the transit area relative to a tightening bolt (18). |
