PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate electromotive force by generating self-excited oscillation of a working fluid and utilizing the self-excited oscillation even when a low temperature difference is given to a heat pipe.SOLUTION: A thermal power generator comprises: a heat pipe which forms a closed-loop conduit line having an extension part extending with a height difference between both ends, and in which a working fluid is enclosed so that a gaseous phase and a liquid phase exist in the extension part; a movable body accommodated near a liquid level of the liquid phase of the heat pipe so as to be movable according to movement of the liquid level along the extension direction of the extension part; and a conductive member arranged along the extension part of the heat pipe. The working fluid carries out self-excited oscillation according to a temperature difference given to the heat pipe along the extension direction of the extension part, and the conductive member generates electric motive force by variation in magnetic field around the conductive member caused by reciprocating-motion of the movable body inside the heat pipe according to the self-excited oscillation of the working fluid. |
