PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent even during projection a foreign matter from entering the inside of a camera from the outside.SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 has in a rear cover 12 of a camera case 10 an opening window 12a, and comprises: a lid member 29 for switching the opening window 12a between a light-shielding state and an opening state; a transparent protective panel 28 for dust protection which is provided between an imaging device 24 and the opening window 12a; a movable monitor unit 30; and an image processor. During imaging, the opening window 12a is switched into the light-shielding state, and the imaging device 24 is disposed at an imaging position. During projection, the opening window 12a is switched into the opening state, and the imaging device 24 is disposed at a retreated position, and a display panel 32 of the monitor unit 30 is opposed to the opening window 12a such that a display image reduced and inverted upside down by the image processor is displayed on the display surface of the display panel 32. |
