PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cylinder-by-cylinder variation in alcohol concentration which occurs in a dual injection type internal combustion engine combining in-cylinder direct injection with port injection when the alcohol concentration of fuel is changed, and to eliminate the variation earlier.SOLUTION: First and second fuel supply lines for the internal combustion engine are piped so that the order of fuel supply from the first fuel supply line to a direct injection valve in each cylinder is reverse to the order of fuel supply from the second fuel supply line to a port injection valve in each cylinder. When a change in the alcohol concentration of the fuel stored in a fuel tank is detected, fuel is controlled to be injected to the direct injection valves and the port injection valves at an injection ratio depending on the capacity of the first fuel supply line and the capacity of the second fuel supply line. |
