PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a crew protection performance by discriminating a local impact, such as a flying stone and hammering, from a violent collision accompanied by a body deformation.SOLUTION: A vehicle collision determination device includes: vibration detection means 11, 12 for detecting a high-frequency vibration generated on a vehicle at a collision and a low frequency vibration in a lower frequency band than the high-frequency vibration; and collision determination means 15, 17 for changing a collision determination threshold that is two-dimensionally set on a two-dimensional collision-determining map having, as its two axes, primary and secondary integral values of a low-frequency vibration for determining whether a collision requiring initiation of a pretensioner 3 and an airbag 2 has occurred on the basis of the result detecting the high-frequency vibration and low-frequency vibration. |
