PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development giving excellent low-temperature fixability, heat-resistant storage property and long-term stability of charging.SOLUTION: The toner contains a crystalline ester compound having a straight-chain structure and a binder resin containing a styrene-acrylic resin. The styrene-acrylic resin has a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer expressed by general formula (1):HC=CR-COORand a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer expressed by general formula (2):HC=CR-COOR. In the formulae, Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Rrepresents a straight-chain alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms; and Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms. |
