PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device in which when an error is found in written items in a formal document having been once approved by a senior, a draft document in which the written item is corrected and which will be examined by the senior again can be found quickly.SOLUTION: A document management device in which a draft document is divided into a first storage area for preserving a draft document and a second storage area for storing a formal document to thereby preserve the draft document and the formal document separately: causes a draft document preserved in the first storage area to be selected; executes a workflow for performing approval for application as to whether a selected draft document should be changed to a formal document in such a state that a selected document is attached; and newly registers, after approval for the workflow for application for approval is completed, a document corresponding to a document attached to the workflow for the application for approval in a second storage area. |
