PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that can be positioned and fixed at a plurality of support positions in a main scanning direction by changing a distance in a sub-scanning direction between an optical element and a holding member, and can position the optical element in a desired attitude irrespective of a change in molding conditions and a difference in scanning methods.SOLUTION: A long lens 51 as an optical element has adjustment screws 44 and a top face pressing spring 49 as a second pressing member provided on a top face, and lower face pressing springs 45 as first pressing members provided on a lower face side. Before a lens central part is fixed to a regulation part 47, the lower side pressing springs 45 are removed, and pre-fixation position adjustment member 100 is attached to the long lens 51, so that a distance in a sub-scanning direction between the long lens 51 and a holder body 43 is adjusted by adjustment means 105a and 106a. After the adjustment, the lens central part is fixed to the regulation part 47, and the lower side pressing springs 45 are attached to the long lens 51. |
