PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant horsepower control valve of a variable displacement piston pump having P-q characteristics of the pump close to an ideal hyperbolic function.SOLUTION: An adjusting portion 45 is provided with a cylindrical cover 84 positioned generally coaxially with a small diameter hole portion of a body 41, and fluid-tightly attached to the other end portion of the body 41; a holder 85 internally installed to the cover 84; a retainer 86 screwed with an end surface of the cover 84 and fixed by a nut 93; a guide pin 87 inserted in an inner hole portion of the retainer 86 oppositely to the holder 85; first and second spring members 91 and 92 provided between the holder 85 and the guide pin 87; a stepped cylindrical sleeve 110 screwed with the inner hole of the retainer 86; and a stepped cylindrical plug 111 screwed with an inner hole of the sleeve 110. |
