PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure of a building which allows a diagonal member to exclusively resist tensile force.SOLUTION: A vibration control structure of a building comprises: a brace 2A extended toward a corner section 15A between a beam member and a column member; a shock-absorber 3 installed between the corner section and the brace; and a joint section 4A joining the shock-absorber and the corner section. The shock-absorber has: an outer shell section with a hollow portion tapered in a direction away from the joint section 4A; and a slide section which can slide with respect to an inner surface of the outer shell section. The brace is connected to the slide section. The slide section is connected to the brace and configured to have a shape which protects the same from dropping out of the outer shell to a brace side. |
