PURPOSE: A method for screening an inhibitor of female skin aging is provided to rapidly diagnose the degree of skin aging using genes, to develop inhibitors of skin aging, and to evaluate the developed inhibitors. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening an inhibitor of female skin aging due to deficiency of female hormone comprises: a step of treating a cell with a test compound; and a step of checking whether the expression of MYOG gene is promoted in the cell after treatment. The method further comprises a step of checking whether the expression of a gene is promoted in the cell after treatment. The gene is selected from the group consisting of SREBF1(SREBP1), LMO2, TFAP2A, MEF2A, LEF1, RUNX2(OSF2), PATZ1(MAZR), THRA, NKX2-5, SOX5, MEIS1, IRF1, GATA3, AP1(FOS/JUN), TBP, SP1, HNF4A, KLF12(AP2REP), NKX2-1(TTF1), MYOD1, RUNX1(AML1), and ZEB1 (AREB6).
