摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot capable of efficiently cooling a motor for driving a hand and arm disposed in the atmosphere in the inside of an arm, in the industrial robot disposed and employed in vacuum.SOLUTION: An industrial robot 1 includes a motor 46 for making a second arm unit 24 turn to a first arm unit 23, a motor 47 for making a hand 13 turn to the second arm unit 24, a reducer 48 for reducing a rotation of the motor 46 and transmitting to the second arm unit 24, and a reducer 49 for reducing a rotation of the motor 47 and transmitting to the hand 13. The hand 13 and the arm 14 are disposed in vacuum. The reducers 48, 49 are disposed coaxially so as to match the turning center of the second arm unit 24 to the first arm unit 23 with the shaft center of the reducers 48, 49. An internal space 45 of the first arm part 23 formed in a hollow shape is kept in the atmospheric pressure, and the motors 46, 47 and the reducers 48, 49 are disposed in the internal space 45.
