PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device able to resume from erroneous detection resulting from foreign matter or the like.SOLUTION: An input device comprises: a coordinate input section 1 having a plurality of capacity detection parts and configured to perform a proximity operation by an operation body; a capacity measurement section 2 configured to measure the electrostatic capacity of each of the capacity detection parts, AD-convert the measured electrostatic capacity, and output the AD-converted electrostatic capacity as a measurement signal; and a control section 3 configured to control the capacity measurement section 2, compute the measurement signal to calculate a data signal, store this data signal so as to correspond to the coordinate information of the capacity detection part, and output a control signal based on the result of the computation. The control section 3 calculates difference values between a predetermined reference value and the data signal at a fixed time intervals, subjects the data signal and the predetermined reference value to a weighing average process to update and store the result as a new reference value. Also, the control section alters weight applied to the weighing average process according to the difference value. |
