PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a device due to an overflow stream of a water storage tank.SOLUTION: A clothing drying machine comprises: a rotary drum 5 for accommodating clothing; heating means for heating air to be sent to the inside of the rotary drum 5; dehumidification means for dew-condensing moisture in the air discharged from the rotary drum 5 to be separated; a dehumidification tank 72 installed below a clothing drying machine body, for collecting dehumidification water dew-condensed by the dehumidification means; a water storage tank 36 installed above the clothing drying machine body, for storing water of the dehumidification tank 72; a water pump 74 for sending the dehumidification water from the dehumidification tank 72 to the water storage tank 36; an overflow pipe 77 for guiding water overflowing from the water storage tank 36 to the dehumidification tank 72; water level detection means 73 for detecting a water level in the dehumidification tank 72; and control means for controlling drive of the water pump 74 on the basis of detection output by the water level detection means 73. With this configuration, the clothing drying machine can be continuously operated and also damage to a heat pump unit and leakage of the dehumidification water to the outside of the machine can be prevented. |
