PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a following control device capable of detecting a position of a moving object and following the object.SOLUTION: A following control device comprises: a light-emitting unit 4; light-receiving units 2; a following device 5; and a control device 8. The Light-receiving units 2 are disposed at least at a right position and a left position, detect a position of the light-emitting unit 4 according to amounts of received light at the right light-receiving unit and at the left light-receiving unit, and are mounted so as to follow an object by the following device 5. The control device 8 controls the following device 5 to make the light-receiving units 2 follow the direction of the light-emitting unit 4 whose position is detected by the light-receiving units 2. For example, the light-emitting unit 4 is mounted to a person 3 as a moving object and the light receiving units 2 can follow the person 3 as a moving object by controlling the light-receiving units 2 to follow the light-emitting unit 4 by the following device 5. |
