PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device the power consumption of which can be reduced.SOLUTION: The rotation angle detection device includes a rotating member 2 rotated together with a revolving shaft 1 and a torsion spring 3 into which the revolving shaft 1 is inserted. A pair of arm parts 30 and 31 which project outward in a radial direction of the torsion spring and have a prescribed gap therebetween in a circumferential direction are formed at both end parts of the torsion spring 3. An extending part 21 of the rotating member 2 and a projecting part 52 of a housing 5 are arranged between the pair of arm parts 30 and 31. Two pressure sensors 8a and 8b for detecting a pressure applied to parts with which the pair of arm parts 30 and 31 are brought into contact are provided on the projecting part 52 of the housing 5. |
