PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device which suppresses the deterioration of a repulsive force due to permanent set of an end surface lip over a long period and, thereby, can improve the sealing property in the sealing device comprising a combination of a slinger and a lip member.SOLUTION: The sealing device includes a slinger mounted on one side member of two members which relatively rotate and a lip member mounted on the other side member. The slinger integrally has a tube-shaped part fitted to one side member and a flange part extended in the radial direction. The lip member, in the sealing device having the end surface lip slidably close contact with the flange part, is disposed such that a back-up lip for suppressing the deterioration of a repulsive force due to permanent set of the end surface lip is brought into contact with the back surface of the end surface lip. The back-up lip is retained by the flange part of the slinger. |
