PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for protecting moving image copyright by using advertising revenue sharing.SOLUTION: A moving image copyright protection method may include: a step in which a moving image copyright protection system determines whether a moving image displayed via a Web page infringes copyright on an original moving image or not in response to copyright information on the original moving image; a step for inserting advertisement information into a moving image player performed on the Web page so that advertisement is displayed when the moving image is reproduced if the moving image displayed via the Web page is determined to infringe the copyright on the original moving image; and a step for sharing an advertisement revenue caused by display of the advertisement with a copyright holder.
