The present invention relates to a thermal barrier coating layer and a method for manufacturing the same comprising: a NiCrAl junction layer formed on a surface of a basic material; and a YSZ layer located on a surface of the NiCrAl junction layer. The present invention relates to a thermal barrier coating layer which is capable of improving fuel efficiency of a vehicle by applying the thermal barrier coating layer to a SCR system, and reducing heat damage of the peripheral parts of an engine exhaust system since oxidation resistance, heat resistance, hardness and especially, thermal barrier properties are excellent; and a method for manufacturing the same.
