PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an arithmetic load of calculation of a continuously drivable route.SOLUTION: A unit 1 for calculating a continuously drivable route of a vehicle comprises a storage part 15 for storing road map data and an arithmetic part 19 for calculating the continuously drivable route where the vehicle can drive from a reference point until the surplus drivable power of the vehicle is a predetermined value or smaller according to the road map data stored by the storage part 15. The storage part 15 stores a plurality of road map data with different levels of details. The arithmetic part 19 selects one of the plurality of road map data according to the point where the surplus drivable power of the vehicle is a predetermined value or smaller away from the reference point and calculates the continuously drivable route using the selected road map data.
