PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of a liquid into a motor from the outer side face of a motor holder with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A motor holder 7 of an electric reel 10 for installing a motor 4 that has a bottomed cylindrical motor case 20 having an opening 20e at one end and supporting an output shaft 26 at the other end to a reel body 2 includes a lid part 7a, and a connection part 7b. The lid part 7a has an engagement recessed part 36 that is provided in the reel body 2, engages with the outer peripheral surface 20f of the one end of the motor case 20, and includes a bottom part 36a that closes the opening 20e.
