PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus capable of inhibiting the generation of scales on a work.SOLUTION: The heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present invention comprises: a turntable 2 for conveying a work W in a state of being mounted thereon; a heating unit 4 for heating, above the turntable 2, the work W conveyed by the turntable 2; and a cooling unit 5 for cooling, above the turntable 2, the work W conveyed from the heating unit 4 by the turntable 2. This heat treatment apparatus 1 possesses a casing 12 covering, above the turntable 2, the heating unit 4 and cooling unit 5, and the interior of the casing 12 is maintained in a low-oxygen atmosphere. |
