PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission capable of shortening a time required for gear shifting and simplifying designing work for various control systems relating to the gear shifting.SOLUTION: Power is transmitted via first-sixth gear trains 31-36 to a main shaft 2 arranged on the side of an engine E and a counter shaft 3 arranged on the side of a driving wheel. On the counter shaft 3, a selector mechanism 50a is provided for selecting the first gear train 31 or the second gear train 32. Between the counter shaft 3 and a first output shaft 5 located more on the downstream side of a power transmission passage from the counter shaft 3, a drive shock absorbing mechanism 300 capable of varying limit torque is provided. An electronic control unit ECU controls the drive shock absorbing mechanism 300 according to a changeover signal for the power transmission passage to release the counter shaft 3 from the first output shaft 5. |
