摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical waveguide enabling automatic and proper control of injecting a resin into a molding space.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an optical waveguide includes the steps of: disposing a first resin sensor 15 for sensing a resin accumulation of a resin 3A in a resin flow path 12 of a molding tool 10; disposing in the resin flow path 12 a first opening/closing valve 16 which receives a signal from the first resin sensor 15 and is automatically opened and closed; forming a resin reservoir 14 in an exhaust flow path 13 of the molding tool 10 and disposing a second resin sensor 17 for sensing a resin accumulation of the resin 3A in the resin reservoir 14; and disposing in the exhaust flow path 13 a second opening/closing valve 18 which receives a signal from the second resin sensor 17 and is automatically opened and closed. When a cavity 11 is filled with the resin 3A, the resin accumulation is formed in the resin flow path 12 and the resin reservoir 14, and the first and the second resin sensors 15 and 17 sense the resin accumulation, so that the first and the second opening/closing valves 16 and 18 are closed.
